Andrea Robinson (born in New York City) is an American actor and singer. Andrea Robinson has sung in choruses, and performed with various actors. Burt Bacharach was her opening role. The most well-known role she had as a vocalist for an actress was sister Mary Robert in Sister Act. Andrea Robinson has been known throughout her filmography for her humorous comedy. Robinson began her film career with comedy films such as "Crazy Moon" which starred Kiefer Spence, Peter Spence, and Whoopi Goldberg in 1987. In addition, she was in "Sister Act 2": Back in the Habit" which starred Whoopi Goldberg in 1993. The first TV role she acted in was on Baywatch Nights (1995-1997) at the start of her acting career. Robinson has composed music for "Parent Trap II,"" a Disney production that ran from 1985 to 1986. The passion for acting grew to her roles in projects like "Sgt. Bilko (1996) and was later followed by Gang Related (1997), an action film that starred James Belushi. The Eddie Murphy comedy hit sequel Nutty Professor II The Klumps (2000) was also a part of her. An appearance in Arli$, HBO 1996-2002 was one of her television roles. Most recently Robinson was a part of Awkward (MTV in 2011-16). Robinson completed her studies at the University of California Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies. She studied theater at California State University Long Beach. Andrea has been a popular host despite having her beginning profession acting. After three appearances on CBS's Survivor, she is now a host of MTV CBS Local Sports HLN as well as the morning program of celebrity People Now at People.com.
